Description

Participants will gain skills in the areas of MIG, Robotic, and Spot
welding; understand how welds are inspected and what type of
quality acceptance criteria is associated with each type of weld;
learn to interpret commonly used welding symbols; and gain
experience with common fabrication tools used by welding
professionals.
Instructed by Ben Frail who has over 15 years of industrial
experience, the workshop is competency-based, meaning a
student’s performance is not compared to other students. There
are several benefi ts to this learning style, including applying your
current skills, focusing on acquiring new skills, reviewing content
several times to ensure comprehension, and potentially
progressing through the course in a quicker fashion.

• Understanding American Welding Society (AWS) Symbols &
