𝐓𝐎𝐔𝐑𝐈𝐒𝐌 𝐒𝐏𝐎𝐓𝐋𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐓: The Hardin County Armory is the oldest and most unique Armory in Ohio with construction beginning in 1893. Built during the Victorian era, the Hardin County Armory resembles a castle.

Today, the facility is used as a historical venue hosting weddings and events. Upon entering the ballroom, your guest's eyes will turn upward to the 17-foot-wide ornate chandelier. The building itself will be a conversation piece, with several wall areas showcasing exposed brick and a balcony surrounding the entire 5,600 square-foot ballroom. In addition, there are Bridal suites, a bar area and a caterer's kitchen. It is no surprise that this unique building has become a popular wedding venue.

It was nearly demolished many years ago, but saved by a group of volunteers who formed a non-profit board to restore and oversee this wonderful venue. All proceeds from events go towards the continued upkeep and preservation of the historical building.

The Hardin County Armory Restoration Foundation is a Not For Profit Organization which is owned by a membership.  These members elect a board of trustees which operate and maintain the Armory building itself. A member in good standing may run for the board with a written letter. The trusteeship is a three year commitment.  There are yearly offices that the trustees may hold upon their election by the membership of President, Vice-President, Secretary, and Treasurer.  We encourage every member to become involved in one way or another.  Members might just want to volunteer their abilities in keeping this wonderful building operating! Family Memberships are $35 and Individual Memberships are $20. Contact the Armory to learn more about membership!
