About
The Hardin County Armory is the oldest and most unique Armory in Ohio with construction beginning in 1893. Built during the Victorian era, the Hardin County Armory resembles a castle.
Today, the facility is used as a historical venue hosting weddings and events. Upon entering the ballroom, your guest's eyes will turn upward to the 17-foot-wide ornate chandelier. The building itself will be a conversation piece, with several wall areas
showcasing exposed brick and a balcony surrounding the entire 5,600 square-foot ballroom. In addition, there are Bridal suites, a bar area and a caterer's kitchen. It is no surprise that this unique building has become a popular wedding venue.
It was nearly demolished many years ago, but saved by a group of volunteers who formed a non-profit board to restore and oversee this wonderful venue. All proceeds from events go towards the continued upkeep and preservation of the historical building.
