About

Invenergy, America’s largest privately held developer, owner, and operator of clean energy solutions, announced commercial operations of the 250-megawatt Hardin III Solar Energy Center located in Hardin County in 2025.

Hardin III Solar supported more than 350 jobs during construction and will generate more than $180 million in new investment, helping to fund public schools, emergency services, and local infrastructure.

The energy center is the third Invenergy-developed solar facility completed in Hardin County, Ohio. Hardin Solar I, II, and III represent a decade-long collaboration with the County and the local community and are now delivering Ohio-made energy to power homes and businesses across the region.
