Ohio Insurance and Financial Services (OIFS) is an independent insurance agency founded by Gary Nelson in 1976.  Originally Nelson Insurance in Kenton, thanks to local support in Hardin County from our valued clients, we have now grown to include 13 locations throughout Ohio including Cole-Humphrey Insurance in Ada, Hollanshead-Kinsey Insurance at Indian Lake, Sloan Insurance in Bellefontaine, Ark-Stacy Insurance in Findlay, and others. 

At our core, OIFS operates similar to a Farm Co-Op by aligning small to medium sized insurance agencies together in order to represent more companies and employ more professional staff resulting in enhanced products and services for our clients.  All of this with one goal- customize our insurance products and services to each client’s specific needs at the lowest rates!
