Beatitudes Community Center

𝐌𝐄𝐌𝐁𝐄𝐑 𝐒𝐏𝐎𝐓𝐋𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐓: Beatitudes is a place for everyone, providing a welcoming and inclusive environment, where everyone is valued and empowered to live a purposeful life. We are governed by a Board of Directors and funded through business and private donations, as well as through the Hardin County Community Foundation and United Way. From this support, we offer a retail store selling a variety of low-cost items like clothing, shoes, coats, housewares and so much more! We also provide monthly community meals and activities to encourage fellowship, financial assistance to those in need, a food bank is available any time during store hours and we can also be a 24-hour emergency site for the Red Cross, if needed.
Beatitudes Community Center offers a variety of events and programs.
- Free meal the 1st Wednesday of each month from 4:00-5:30pm
- Community Bingo the 2nd Friday of each month at 12:30pm
- Euchre players meet at 1:30pm each Thursday
A special event from this past spring was our Doll Adoption. A family from Kenton donated over 200 dolls to Beatitudes. This allowed us to create a program where children and adults could pick out a doll to adopt. During the event, they received a certificate of adoption, pictures with their doll and treats to take home.
Beatitudes has endless volunteer opportunities and welcomes community support!
