𝐌𝐄𝐌𝐁𝐄𝐑 𝐒𝐏𝐎𝐓𝐋𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐓: Keep Hardin County Beautiful is here to assist our Hardin County citizens in several different ways. We are here to:
Core Principles:
• Encourage responsible attitudes about solid waste management among our citizens.
• Emphasize reducing, reusing, and recycling materials.
• Encourage the purchase of recycled products.
Strategies:
• Educate residents about litter prevention.
• Implement beautification projects to enhance the environment.
Our group works hard to accomplish our goals by several activities throughout the year. We maintain the flower urns around the Courthouse. We’ve shared informational posts on Facebook recently about what is offered in Hardin County at our Transfer Station and about reducing, reusing and recycling. We will be sharing ideas for our Hardin County residents as we approach National Recycling Day in November. We will be visiting classrooms to promote reducing, reusing and recycling next Spring. With the assistance of our great FFA programs in the county, collect recyclables at the Hardin County Fair.
