Over the last 47 years, thanks to local support in Kenton and Hardin County, Nelson Insurance has achieved tremendous growth as a business! In 2001, Gary Nelson formed Ohio Insurance & Financial Services LLC to serve as a platform for expansion in order to provide more products and services to our valued clients.
Today, in addition to Nelson Insurance in Kenton, there are 9 locations in Ohio where we provide services including Cole-Humphrey Insurance in Ada, Sloan Insurance Center in Bellefontaine, Hollanshead-Kinsey Insurance in Russells Point, Harrison Insurance in Wapakoneta, ARK Insurance Services in Findlay, Goodwins Insurance in Columbus Grove, Denker Insurance in Holland, and Merkle Insurance in Van Wert. Due to our size and scope of operations, we're able to represent nearly every top insurance company in Ohio.

Recently, in order to give back to the local community that's supported our family business over the years, we partnered with 2 other local businesses (McBride Financial & Quest FCU) to purchase and restore the historic 'Philips Medical Park' building and grounds located in the 400 block between North Main and Detroit Streets in Kenton. This building now serves as home for Nelson Insurance Agency and headquarters for Ohio Insurance & Financial Services LLC.
